The ‘Purchases’ releases bundle features all new tracks on vinyl, compact disc and download mostly based upon samples expanding Record Of Tides´ musical style towards post hip hop while still being recognizable for his unique style. Sven Piayda started to work on the new pieces back in December 2020 and finished the bundle in spring 2021. All tracks have been mastered by Michael Schreiber to grand a transparent and punchy sound for all tracks of the ‘Purchases’ series.

The vinyl EP release is followed by a digital only and free ‘Gimmicks EP’ which contains 10 tracks which have been outtakes of the forthcoming album or additions after the album was already finished. The ‘Gimmicks EP’ features Mabel E. Hicast and Primal Scapes (a.k.a. Michael Schreiber) on single tracks.

After performing live on August 12, 2021, 'Beats Over Rags (Live at Consol Gelsenkirchen 2021)' had been added as bonus track to the release.
